Richard Scottsdale, AZ United States Male Living with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma for 10 years, 8 months Age: 85
During a routine operation last summer at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, my doctors discovered I had an enlarged spleen, a diseased gall bladder, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. They removed my spleen and gall bladder and then scheduled me for five chemotherapy sessions. After only three sessions I was declared cured of the lymphoma. However, if that seemed too good to be true it was because I then developed a severe case of shingles which I am still suffering from. Nevertheless, I'm pleased to say there is hope for lymphoma victims. |
