HOWARD LEE THOMPSONJR MURRELLS INLET, SC United States male Living with Hodgkin Lymphoma for 7 years, 11 months Age: 49 The name of my team is “TEAM REBECCA.” It is named after a little 9-year-old girl who I went through chemo with in Kansas City for 6 months. Rebecca had leukemia. I am so sorry to report that she lost her young life to the disease a year after I met her. Rebecca touched my life in a way I can not explain, which is the reason that I named my team after her. I will always remember and pay tribute to a little girl who helped me beat the disease. |
