Jarod FL United States male Living with AML for 6 years, 6 months Age: 12 Hi my name is Jarod and I am six years old. I was diagnosed in March 2004 with AML Leukemia. I am a triplet. My sister and brother have been my best friends while I go through all of this chemo and other yucky stuff. My mom took me into the doctor after having a fever for four days and I had started to look pale. The doctor wanted to do blood work and then called my mom later that same day and told us to go to the emergency room immediately. We are SO thankful for our doctor recognizing the signs, which is part of how I am able to be here today! I am currently in remission and planning to stay that way! |
