Judi Richmond, VA United States female Living with CLL for 4 years, 10 months Age: 61 I am 59 and diagnosed with CLL for 3 years. During this time, I've only experienced swollen lymph nodes, but in recent months they have increased in size and have some discomfort. My Hematologist thinks we should do radiation to reduce their size....I'm sitting on the fence about the treatment. I need to maintain my quality of life as my father is 95 and needs me. I've not shared my health issues with him for fear he will worry about something we can't do anything about. I would like to hear from people that have had radiation or know anything about it. I've read on line articles, but would prefer hearing from a CLL patient. Thank you. |
