In Memory Of Britiani m Creciun Lansdale, PA United States female Lived with Leukemia - non-specific for 10 years, 9 months My sweet 14 year-old, Britiani Marie Creciun, is my angel who fought ALL from the age of 4 with 2 relapsed. She went into remission each time! Brit fought every side effect and got out of bed to do a fundraiser for any of the foundations to help find a cure so that no one would suffer. She was happy and loved life. On Dec 3,1998 as she enjoyed her new baby sister, and waited for xmas to arrive, life took a change. After two ER visits in 7hr's, I heard the worst words a parent could hear. Then after 78 admissions,15 surgeries and chemotherapy, we heard those words. "The fight is over. She has blastic cancer. Britiani won't live to xmas. There is NO CURE.” The doctors cried as they told us. SHOCK. Christmas was her favorite Holiday, and she was leaving us? No words can describe the grief and pain. How does a parent tell the family and friends who supported her with love and prayers through it all all? My daughter Britiani came home for 72hours, but due to severe pain, she returned to our local hospital !She asked me, “Mommy am I really going to die?” She knew that she would always beat it! What do you say? I said you’re going to be a real angel, like you are now to all of us. She responded, "to find a cure!" On Dec 21st, Britiani Marie Creciun died and the shock hit us all. Leaving behind her xmas wishes, another sister Angela, and her sister Lexi. But I pray every night for a cure. I know we have angel over us. No parent should have to bury there child, and not at xmas. On Dec 26th, Britiani Marie was laid to rest and God got a great angel. We fight for the cure. Her sisters’ smiles remind me of her each day. But it's very hard. Britiani’s joy and laughter was the glue of our huge family! We tell her sisters the story she left for them.
