Kathy, 56 - I'm happy to report that everything continues to be normal and I am cancer free. Melinda, 34 - I would like to thank all of my friends and family. I would have never made it if it they hadn't been there to help me.&quot; Christine, 29 - I am alive today because of leukemia research. Mel, 71 - I don't smell the percolating coffee because my wife sleeps later than I do, but I sure smell the roses all around me! Jennifer, 35 - I take time to do things for pure enjoyment. Tanya, 37 - You can draw on the strength of many in a time when your personal strength is so drained. Gina, 41 - I am in remission and I am back to running an hour a day. Alberta, 50 - I have learned to enjoy every day. Jan, 60 - When it comes to cancer, facts and figures are pretty easy to come by, but LLS was able to offer me something else in addition?hope. Richard, 85 - I'm pleased to say there is hope for lymphoma victims. Amber, 29 - Now I am trying to do my best to help win the fight against cancer.<br> Alex, 20 - I participate in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light The Night events because I want the world to know I'm well, happy and alive. Victoria, 32 - After my honeymoon, I had a biopsy that showed I had Hodgkin's lymphoma. Becca, 3 - I have been in remission for four and a half years now. Annette, 40 - I am proud to share my story with others to instill hope. Lisa, 39 - I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and I was six months pregnant. Donna, 46 - Every day is truly a gift Pamela, 36 - I hope that my story helps others to learn to take a very negative thing and make it a positive experience. Jim, 57 - Research helped save my life. Rory, 14 - On Dec. 6, 1999, 3-and-a-half-year-old Rory Garber was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. mother and grandmother, 74 - The light is the hope that cannot be blown out.<br> Blake, 43 - Blake MacDiarmid, 34, is a sailor/survivor in remission from CML. Christine, 29 - I am telling my story to give you hope.  I held my (very bald!) head up through all of it and I did it. Mark, 44 - The last sprint to the finish line was filled with excitement, fatigue, joy and sorrow. Andy, 34 - One of the infusion center nurses told me that if I opened myself up to it, I might discover some advantages to having cancer. Beverly, 44 - My hope for anyone reading this is for you to keep your faith or find someone to help you. Olivia, 14 - It hasn't always been an easy battle for Olivia. Martin, 29 - This is the perfect opportunity for me to help others who are fighting the battle that I have won! Melissa, 17 - There are many miracles to talk about in her life! Drew, 16 - Thank you to all the nice people who are helping to find a cure for ALL. Heather, 34 - It's been a long seven years, but I wouldn't change a thing. Eve, 11 - Eve was diagnosed with ALL. Three little letters that completely changed our lives. Kelly, 37 - I have had unbelievable support from my family and friends. Heather, 36 - I felt so hopeless, not for myself, but what about my baby. Caitlin, 13 - With all that Caitlin has been put through, she has maintained her sweet and wonderful personality. Jody, 15 - Every day is a challenge for him. Jordan, 15 - Jordan and all of his family are so thankful for the research provided by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Sue, 67 - I know it seems funny not to remember exactly when she got sick, but it's because she never lived her life as if she had a disease. Teri, 59 - It was a difficult time, but I am happy to report I am healthy and have been in remission for eight years and four months. Cynthia, 37 - I've read so many of these personal stories, it's like love and life are coming out of my computer! Harold, 59 - I'm posting my story in order to bring hope to anyone newly diagnosed with leukemia. Judy, 60 - I hope that my long remission can provide hope to others with AML. Jesse, 33 - I do consider myself lucky. Rick, 61 - I remain amazed at the level of giving that people want to extend, and have learned to accept help when it is offered. Teri, 55 - I'm a fighter and a survivor, and I'm taking it day by day. Kristy, 46 - These last two years have really been a learning experience for my family and me. Mary, 43 - I also am happy to say that only 10 months after completing chemo I walked all 60 miles of the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. Shannon, 34 - But most of the time I just try to enjoy each day for what it brings. jade, 40 - I went through six months of chemotherapy - what I called 'hell on earth' - but I made it, and last March I went into remission. Bobby, 52 - I am a police officer, and the support I received from my fellow officers was such a blessing. Janet, 56 - It's been 20 years since they told me I'd only have 10 years to live. Kelli, 45 - I wish everyone reading this gets a dose of laughter, strength, hope and luck. You deserve them. Carolyn, 66 - It is amazing how unimportant some things have become and how much I have come to enjoy the simple things in my life. Alice, 58 - When we first got the news, I didn't know where to turn for help. Nicole, 36 - I commemorated Year Five of remission by running in the Anchorage Marathon Crystal, 29 - Please know that better days are coming. Wally, 51 - I was determined that the only answer to this setback was victory. Edie, 60 - For a while it felt like everything had come crashing down around me, but ultimately I made the decision not to give up. Lynda, 58 - If it hadn't been for the love and faith of my family and friends I would never have made it. Andrea, 53 - You can survive this, too! Robbin, 61 - I truly believe that my sense of humor helped, too.
