The Life Mosaic is an opportunity to share your personal
cancer journey and to experience the challenges and triumphs of others living
with cancer. You may search for specific
stories of interest within the Life Mosaic by disease, age, name and
geography. Please note that all stories previously submitted in the Society's
Web site "Story of Hope" section have been transitioned into the Life Mosaic.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Life Mosaic is sponsored by Novartis, a world leader in
healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Novartis is the discoverer, developer and manufacturer of Gleevec
(imatinib mesylate), the drug recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration for the treatment of patients with chronic myeloid leukemia in
the blast crisis, accelerated phase or in chronic phase after failure of
interferon-alpha therapy. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society funded researcher Brian Druker, MD, was the lead
investigator of early scientific and clinical studies with Gleevec. Novartis is
proud to be an innovative force that's bringing new optimism and hope to cancer
patients and their families. For further information about Novartis, please consult " target="_blank" class="blank">www.novartis.com. |
